Feminizing Bottom Surgery
Feminizing bottom surgery options may include:
Vaginoplasty
Creates external vulvar anatomy and, in full-depth procedures, a vaginal canal. Zero-depth options (vulvoplasty) create external anatomy without a vaginal canal.
Scrotectomy
Removes the scrotal sac.
Orchiectomy
Removes one or both testicles.
Masculinizing Bottom Surgery
Masculinizing bottom surgery options may include:
Phalloplasty
Creates a neophallus (penis) using tissue from another area of the body.
Metoidioplasty
Creates a smaller phallus using hormonally enlarged genital tissue.
Penile implant
May be added after phalloplasty to create firmness and support penetrative sex.
Monsplasty
Reduces or reshapes the mons pubis area.
Scrotal Surgery (Scrotoplasty)
Creates a scrotum, with testicular implants placed at the same time or later if desired.
